These dates are generally aimed at Roman Catholics. I don't have a problem with that, but the Orthodox Christians (Eastern, Greek, Russian, Serbian, Antioch, Jerusalem, Alexandria Patriarchates) keep time a little different -- not much, but enough to keep us from "getting to the church on time." I agree. If I have time, I'll play around with iCal and see what I can whip up. There's a text file somewhere with these Eastern Orthodox feast days. Reply to This

If anyone is planning to put together an Orthodox feastday calendar, shall we put both Old and New Calendar dates on the same cal? Reply to This

You can allways merge the calls in iCal later if you put them on two. Reply to This

I know Easter moves about all over the place from year to year, but all the more reason for us to need an accurate diary to subscribe to. Ash Wednesday is off by a week in 2005, and Easter day seems to have disappeared totally. How do we get Apple to fix this?? Reply to This

Easter is there when I looked at this calendar, but no Ash Wednesday. Who is the bozo responsible for this mess of a calendar? If anyone has an alternative to the Christian calendars here that are accurate and are appropriate for Protestant use (without all the lesser saints' days), please let me know.
Thanks,
Eric Birk

Another problem I discovered (along with all the glitches mentioned in this forum) is that Advent is actually four weeks long marked each Sunday on the four Sundays preceding Xmas, not just one Sunday as it appears on this calendar.
Who authored this calendar? Can we get them to make the necessary edits? Reply to This

Another problem with this calendar: Instead of Good Friday, the Annunciation is put in for that day (3/25/05). Does anyone read these comments who is in a position to fix the mistakes? Reply to This

I noticed that October 2, 2006 is the "Feast of Gaurdian Angles". Is that RIGHT? or are we being OBTUSE?

No Christmas 2006? No Epiphany 2007? What kind of "Christian" calendar is this? Reply to This
