Thanks very much for taking the trouble to do this.
On a small screen its a bit confusing but I guess I will get used to it.
I read that the Reith Lectures are going to be made available as mp3 like Melvyn Bragg's programmes. iPodder gets on and takes them down when they are ready. I need time and space to assimilate this interesting stuff.
Well worth the licence fee.

I was wrong - the BBC are not providing mp3s of the Reith lectures. However the 'listen again' facility will be there for a week after the broadcast.

Thank you for the correction. I'd really like to see the mp3 downloads expanded to include more programs. Copyright restrictions will probably make it difficult to offer Book of the Week as a download, but I hope that some of the original drama and comedies can be made available. Reply to This

Things seem to have changed again! The first of the Reith lectures is available as a mpg - have just collected it - but if the BBC follow their pattern with Listen Again and the Bragg programmes they will take it off when they put the next one on.
Hope you see this in time to get it.
I am sure you are right about copyright problems. I rather think they sell tape recordings of some of the stories they broadcast so they wouldn't want to undermine that.

Thanks for this, an excellent piece of work. Any chance of one for BBC Radio 3? That would really make my day. Cheers Reply to This
