How to rightly bleed air from a dump truck cylinder

How to rightly bleed air from a dump truck cylinder
Follow the right steps below to rightly bleed air form a dump truck cylinder.
Lift cylinder or single-acting
1. Raise the cylinder and dump body to full extension and leave spread for several minutes to permit air to raise the top of the cylinder.
2. Lower the cylinder and dump body until the front of the dump body is about two feet off of the chassis frame.
3. Put the body up lever in the grip position
4. If you have KP-LOK bleeder valve, crack the control device open at the time.
5. Wait until all cached air has flee away from the control device and a complete hydraulic oil stream is escaping from the control device.
6. At this level the cylinder is bled, and the bleeder valve can be shut down.
If your bleeder valve is placed on the peak of the cylinder, you will need to get rid of the dog house box cover and must also move to the within the dump body:
1. Ger rid of the dog box cover and crack the bleeder valve unlock at this time.
2. Wait until all cached air has flee away from the control device and a complete stream of hydraulic fuel is escaping from the control device.
3. At this level the drum is bled, and the bleeder valve can be shut off.
Rod type hydraulic cylinders
Before launching air from the hydraulic cylinder, ensure the hydraulic cylinder is not forced in any circumstances. The air control device should be pointing upwards when the hydraulic cylinder is located horizontal. The piston rod must be in completely retracted place at first.
1. Unlock the air valve at the hydraulic cylinder or the upper side.
2. Ensure all pipes or hoses are linked rightly.
3. Set-up hydraulic system and begin it up.
4. Spread the piston rod gradually with no force built-up. Keep spreading until there is foam/oil out of the air valve.
5. Close off the system and near to the air valve.
6. Depressurize the system before unlocking the air valve at the lower part of the hydraulic cylinder.
7. Begin up the hydraulic structure
8. Retract the hydraulic cylinder gradually with no force built-up. Keep retracting until there is foam/oil coming out of the air control device.
9. Close off the system and near to the air valve.
10. Retest the hydraulic cylinder by spreading and retracting the piston rod until it is working perfectly.
Inspecting your dump truck hydraulic cylinder
Check the dump truck hydraulic cylinder rod for signs of wear, stress, or weakness. A bent, rough, or scored, rod will destroyed seals or permit for leaks. A dump truck cylinder with a bad mounting configuration can bend a rod and possibly break or bend a mount as well.
Check the sealed area of the system parts and fluid lines for proof of leaks. Examine all lubricated places and replenish are required. If there is fluid leaking from around the top of the hydraulic dump cylinder and the rod does not emerge to be destroyed or scored, you may have a destroyed or severely worn seal.

I know of many other ways to achieve this but this method seems the best to me. Thanks. July 2019 South African WhatsApp Numbers
