Can Renewable Energy Sources Truly Replace Fossil Fuels?

Can Renewable Energy Sources Truly Replace Fossil Fuels?
There are a variety of renewable energy sources currently in existence or being developed. But the energy demands of the world's population are high. It is becoming evident that the fossil fuels that power most of the world are also contributing to ecological devastation. But can any renewable energy source system be affordably implemented in such a way that everyone will have the power that is needed?

Does Allowing Gay Marriage Compromise Family Values in States?
Federal law states that a marriage is a binding contract between one man and one woman. Homosexual couples have been lobbying to have their unions recognized by state and federal governments for years, and a few states have begun to recognize these unions. How to write a maid of honor speech and how has this state endorsement affected the moral integrity of the states, such as Massachusetts, that support gay marriage? Is there empirical evidence to support the claim by detractors that allowing legal homosexual unions in a state will negatively affect the moral character of all people in that state? Does the U.S. Constitution support or disallow federally recognized marriage unions between two persons of the same gender?

Does Resource Extraction Benefit Local Communities?
The world is built by basic materials. Resources are gathered in one area, put together in another, and transported to the end consumer. Often, people do not know where the oil in their car or the jewels around their necks originated. The people local to the source of the resource have to deal with the potential side effects of the resource extraction, but rarely do they receive the benefits or proper compensation. How are local communities benefited by resource extraction practices, and how are they negatively affected? Do the benefits outweigh the destructive affects?

Can Environmental Pollution be Remediated by Natural Solutions?
There are an increasing number of natural and man-made disasters that are proving untreatable by conventional methods. Studying natural solutions has spawned some innovative methods for working with oil spills, other toxic waste, and climate change. But these methods can be expensive and challenging to implement. Their experimental nature means there is no guarantee that methods such as algae farming and mycorestoration will work. Argue the pros and cons of using natural solutions to treat environmental pollution.
