There is no set format for a written tenancy agreement. Here are some suggestions on what should be included.

The type of tenancy - this is normally an "Assured Shorthold Tenancy" with the property being either furnished or unfurnished

The term - usual the term is fixed for 6 months and then reverts to a monthly contractual basis.

Notice Address - the tenant is required to advise the landlord or agent in writing when the tenant has a problem at the property that is the landlord's responsibility to fix. The tenant also needs to notify the landlord when they want to leave the property. An address is required for these notices to be served.
