Brighton & Hove Healthwalks Programme – 12th April to 31st May 2021

Guidance on attending
Healthwalks remain a drop-in service; there is no need to book, and numbers are not limited. However, large walking groups may be split and staggered to enable social distancing.
Please help us keep everyone safe on the walks. Keep a two-metre distance from all other people, wherever possible, and a one metre distance at least. Remember, this applies to gathering at the start and end of walks, and at stopping points, as well as during the walk itself. Cover your mouth and nose with disposable tissues when you cough or sneeze, or cough or sneeze into the crook of your elbow if you don’t have a tissue to hand. Dispose of tissues into a rubbish bag and sanitise your hands. Try not to touch gates and stiles, etc., and if you do, use hand sanitiser afterwards. Wearing a face covering is not mandatory outdoors, but please do use one if you feel this is best for you.
Please do not attend walks if you feel unwell or have any symptoms of COVID-19, or if you know you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, has symptoms or has been feeling unwell over the last two weeks.
In running the walks, we as a council service are obliged to contribute to the national Covid-19 Test and Trace effort. In the event that a participant on a walk tests positive for COVID-19, participation data from the walk will be provided to Test and Trace to help contain the spread of the disease. If you do not want your details to be passed on to Test and Trace, please tell a volunteer walk leader. The identity of anyone testing positive would not be shared with us. Please see our Test & Trace privacy notice at https://new.brighton-hove.gov.uk/testandtraceprivacynotice
Walks are circular and weekly unless otherwise stated. There are no walks on the early and late May Bank Holidays, with the exception of Erica’s progression walk on Monday 3rd May.
