New Century Singers

This calendar is for a Long Island chorus called, New Century Singers.

New Century Singers is a voluntary, not-for-profit, community-based chorus comprised of members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and their allies.

NCS is dedicated to singing a wide variety of music that speaks to the struggles and triumphs of the human spirit. The chorus perfoms classical choral compositions, traditional and contemporary spirituals, popular and Broadway selections and newly composed pieces, some written by our current and founding artistic director.

NCS has sung on the East and West Coasts of the United States, in Canada and in Carnegie Hall! We are currently preparing for a trip to London in May, 2009, to perform Sing for the Cure with Various Voices of London.
